Corey is the owner and operator of Corey’s Backyard Ponds, bringing a thoughtful, hands-on approach to every project he undertakes. A proud Army veteran and Fredericksburg native, he now serves the Richmond area, continuing the legacy of his father-in-law’s business with integrity and care.
With a deep respect for natural ecosystems, Corey specializes in creating and maintaining ponds that are both beautiful and balanced. He is known for his patience and attentiveness when working with aquatic life—carefully tending to fish, nurturing plants, and ensuring every detail supports a healthy environment. For clients who value preservation, Corey is more than willing to take the extra time to safely relocate and protect wildlife, even down to saving tadpoles during a renovation.
Outside of his work, Corey enjoys camping and exploring the outdoors, a passion that continues to shape his approach to building peaceful, nature-inspired spaces for others to enjoy.
